Sustainable Meetings

Battelle is working to reduce the environmental impact of the conferences we conduct. To reduce the quantity of paper consumed, a PDF version of the 47-page Preliminary Program was posted at this Web site in January, and the informational mailing consisted of brief brochures that highlight the various aspects of the program and direct readers to the Preliminary Program on the Web site for details. Abstracts will be reproduced on CDs to be distributed to registrants, replacing printed abstract books. We will work with the Peppermill Resort to review catering and other services at the Symposium site and make them as sustainable as possible.
