Materials from the Conference will be available in two forms: a collection of abstracts and a published proceedings.
Abstracts. A CD-ROM containing one-page abstracts for all platform and poster presentations will be distributed to technical program registrants upon arrival at the Conference. The abstracts will be arranged according to the program schedule so that Conference registrants can use them to plan which sessions and presentations to attend. The CD will replace the two-volume sets of abstracts distributed at previous Conferences, thereby significantly reducing the quantity of paper consumed in preparing handouts for registrants. The abstracts and the Final Program will be posted at this web site by May 14.
Proceedings. All platform and poster presenters are being asked to submit papers expanding upon their presentations. For each presentation made at the Conference, the paper or, in its absence, the abstract will be included in the proceedings. In addition, the slide files for platform presentations will be included. The indexed proceedings will be compiled on CD and mailed at no additional cost after the Conference to all technical program registrants who paid standard (US$825/$895/$975) or student ($400/$450/$500) rates. Beginning in October 2010, copies of the proceedings can be ordered from The Conference Group, Inc. (800-783-6338 or 614-488-2030; fax: 614-488-5747; info@confgroupinc. com). Proceedings of several previous Battelle-sponsored remediation conferences also are available.
