In support of our commitment to promoting both the diversity and readiness of the next generation of science and technology leaders, Battelle will host a "Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Symposium” February 28 to March 1, 2012. The theme for this inaugural event is “W2W – Women to Women – Connecting Global Science and Technology Leaders”. The symposium will showcase the successes of female leaders across a range of scientific and engineering fields, providing a forum for learning and networking through keynote speaker presentations, panel discussions, poster sessions, and social events. The agenda is best-suited for mid-career professionals who are extending their reach beyond traditional technical tracks and into leadership roles that encompass marketing, development, financial, and people management activities.
The event will be held in Columbus, OH. Accommodations and most agenda activities will be at the Blackwell Inn on the campus of The Ohio State University. A first night reception with tours will be held at the Battelle Corporate Headquarters. Please see the Preliminary Agenda for additional information.
